Hello All,
I was just wondering if anyone can please point me in the direction of how to convert an individual 'secondary' drive.
Scenario - C drive of P machine converts fine, but after a couple of attempts to convert both the C and D drives I'm just solely converting the C drive to the new V location on an NFS datastore.
What I have done in the past when I have had to do this (known 2K3 converting issue) I have simply copied over the C drive and then created a new D on the V - and then used xcopy or robocopy to move the data from the old D drive to the new one.
However, is there an easy way to get the Converter to just convert the D drive, and specifically point it to the exact NFS datastore where the C drive was previously converted to?
It may seem like a stupid question! :-) But when I go through the converter options to the VMWare Infrastructure virtual Machine option, it is saying that this machine name already exists and cannot be copied.. I don't want to copy the machine in its entirity of course, just the drive to the exact datastore and folder of where the C drive is..
Surely obvious, but please help!
Thanks in advance.
