From the editors virtual desk
Hi everyone and greetings once again from San Francisco. Well it has been a very busy week. Of course the talk of the week is all about the latest vulnerability that has just been discovered that could affect all of us. This is the Bash Shell vulnerability. VMware, like many other vendors ships products that may be affected by this and as a result are providing guidance which I urge you to take note of and ensure that if they are relevant to your environment that you take the necessary precautions and discuss this further with your TAM.
Here is a link to the KB article which is being updated regularly: http://kb.vmware.com/kb/2090740
I have also written 2 blog posts this week on LinkedIn.
The first is Automating the Software Defined Data Center and can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/kmuoo2w
The next one is related to the Bas vulnerability and is a bit tongue in cheek but I think you will find it a bit of fun to read: http://tinyurl.com/l93r9vm
I hope you have a fantastic and productive week. Please feel free to get in touch anytime.
